Tummy Troubles

I was ill yesterday from some bout of stomach flu which had me puking like a drunkard at 6:30 in the morning yesterday. I stayed home and rested, and napped on and off until this morning.

The best description I can conjure for how I feel today is that I feel precisely like a stuffed velveteen rabbit, lying in an oil slick, covered in congealing vomit.

Sorry for the image, but I still feel rancid. Water seems so good, so long as I don't drink too much...

I had that over July 4th week.

I would only add, that the velveteen rabbit had been driven over by a very large SUV driven by a soccer mom chatting away on her cell phone, and to add the final insult, tosses what's left of her half-caf soy skinny latte chai out the window to mingle in the puddle of sick.
