Yes, yes, this only seals my prior argument against myself, but after all, whom doesn't wish to be a robotic killing machine...

Why do robots appeal to people's imagination so much, anyway? Is vaunted supra-human abilities, eternal efficiency, or because robots, androids, synthezoids, and mecha don't suffer from debilitating morality? Add sex appeal into the mix and you'd have all the fine young goths selling out fangs for burnished steel skin.

Why be immortal when you can be immortal, flawless, and el1te?

Much Love to [livejournal.com profile] supercub for the tasty Zinc Links.

Why be immortal at all? I think I'd get tired of it after a few liftimes.

Why do you get Violence, Sabotage, and Battle, and I get Peacekeeping an Yardwork! *wink*

I think androids and AI allows us to consider how our emotions and basic animal drives influence our thoughts and behaviors. I think the recent movie, AI, with all its faults, is a good example of this. Thanks for the link!

You're a transforming mecha? Hell, I didn't get that. However, upon second thought, given your description you might transform into a leaf-blower. A cute leaf-blower, but still. :-)

Does that mean he'd only blow cute leaves?

Possibly.

He could have been a lawn mower as well, but I prefer not to think of attractive men as having whirling blades in their undercarriage. It's enough to make you run back to VaginaLand.

No it isn't.

Maybe he only blows cuties, then leaves? ("I hate to eat and run, but....")
