Not The Best Weekend

We did not so much pave a road to hell with good intentions as lay a superhighway with exits at Hades, Tartarus, Gehenna, and Purgatory with every sweet notion we could.

I really cherished some of the moments I had with folks this weekend. That being said, it was still a bitch of a weekend. I'm exhausted not only from the drama, but the aftermath.

Miscommunication, fear, and jealousy loused up everything. What's worse is that every party involved was trying to do the right thing, but it still ended up mucked up beyond reason.

It'll take several days to process this, but I'm glad to be home. To my hosts, thank you; I'm sorry for the complications. We all deserve a rest, and I love no one less for what happened.
