So: What if I just said "Fuck It" and abandoned my plans to limp along to an associates degree at College of DuPage and just enrolled in an evening Bachelor's degree program at Northwestern University or DePaul University? Why limp towards mediocrity when I can just start making my way towards a decent degree in Economics from a university I won't be ashamed to graduate from?
I've received nothing but bad advice from counselors thus far. Why not just disregard it and GO?
So, what if?
I don't like my chances at getting into Northwestern, but for the time & $50 to apply I may as well try, right? If I apply for fall now, I might be able to square everything away quickly.
Why not?
