Two days later and my pectoral muscles still feel like they're made out of taut barbed wire.

Ah yes, tonight's leg regimen may well end my life. Oddly enough, I'm looking forward to it.

Do yourself a favor, and if nothing else - go easy on the calves.

They'll feel so easy that you'll be amazed at how much weight you can do...

and then tomorrow you'll wake up looking like a barbie doll - with your toes pointed straight out and your calves unable to un-knot.

Nothing screws with your motivation like the inability to walk for 2 days :)

Oh, I'll be FAR more wary than I was with the chest work out. I have learned.

When I first started working out years ago, I did my first leg night and did 320 pounds on the calf press machine. I was so excited about showing off that I did 3 sets and felt fine.... then the next day I had to go to the opening night of a friend's play on actual crutches. It was funny after the fact - but man, at the time? It was crazy. I was sure I was never going to walk again *rofl*.

Knowing my mindset, I push myself to extremes. I simply need to learn temperance in my workouts.
