I truly need to learn the HTML necessary to cut journal entries and highlight names as I've seen in other journals as well.

I WANT to be tech! I do. It's just I'm used to the level of technology used in churning butter.

<lj-cut text="This will be what the highlighted text link will read on your journal, other wise it defaults to Read More"> All of this stuff will be cut and read only on the comments page when clicking the link </lj-cut> Anything after the </lj-cut> tag will go back onto the front journal page.

That's high praise coming from someone as knowledgable as yourself. I tinker with the intranet at work, so I had to get in touch with all of my Ampersand character commands... Less than and Greater than & lt and & gt (without the spaces and ending in a ; )
