I'm going to see Madonna in 8 hours time at the United Center.

I somehow feel that this is unjust, especially since I'm not a big fan of Madonna, and there are folks like backawayslowly who would tender parts of their anatomy for tickets... but I'll accept happy fortune because this falls under my "See the Great Rock Stars Before They're Dead/Irrelevant" pogrom.

I'm going with tropicstyle and I'm sure I'll enjoy the show, but I somehow doubt I'll be caught dead in a concert shirt from the "Confessions" tour.

I hope she looks better in person than in her videos of late.

I would hate you right now if I hadn't already seen her in New York City at Madison Square Garden on the Girlie Show tour in 1993. When she was seriously dirty. And didn't have kids. And wasn't working with awesome collaborators like William Orbit and Stuart Price (okay, that hurts a little bit). But Madge won't come to Texas. We're apparently being punished for Connecticut's mistake.

Most of Maddie's music of late has gone downhill. Her last album is all remixed by the same guy....BIG MISTAKE!!! It all sounds the same and that's pathatic. Nothing fresh on there after the first release. This coming from a Pro DJ too. Get with it Madonna. You're a LOT better than this last album...show us again.
