I know there is a God, because only an omnipresent and omnihumorous being would see the irony in giving me a heave-ho migraine in the middle of a Thursday workday at a financial firm with dozens of ringing phones & faxes. My co-workers sound like howler monkeys to me right now and the light from outside is bright and punishing like a spotlight busting George Michael at a public park restroom. My head is filled with gibberish; it's hard to focus.

I'm not hating life right now, but I am ready to chuck certain co-workers off the 11th floor just to see if their needy asses bounce off the pavement.

*ugh*

I'm officially out of my fucking gourd today.

The doctors recommend demerol and the emergency room, but I don't think I want a parking spot at the nearest hospital because I make weekly visits to the emergency room. I detest this "just dope him up until we guess what's wrong" attitude all my docs have. A pile of aspirin, acetomenaphin and Excedrin works nicely to keep the ache at bay, when chased with a venti triple shot anything from Caribuck's Coffee.

Fuck this shit. MATT SMASH! *runs off to destroy Tokyo*

That one made me pee a little with giggles.

I hate to tell you, but you may never find a cause for your migraines. They can be tied to any number of things. My mom has narcolepsy, for instance, but it doesn't cause her migraines. At least, not that we're aware of, and the medication that treats her narcolepsy does nothing for her migraines.

If you can find a cause, great, but you may have to resort to 'let's dope him up' more than a few times before any is discovered. You'll need to see a specialist too, if you aren't already.

And it could be something as simple as stress. Does your health plan cover massage?
