Someone once told me my Chinese Zodiac was Steel Monkey, bout normally its Ox. He may have been sent to cast illusion about me. :-)
I was recently told by someone I love & implicitly trust that I need to explore my metaphyiscal side, to probe untapped resources as it were. Me, a willworker? In fantasy perhaps, but I dunno about reality.
You see, I desire empirical proof of the unknown. I will only be at peace with quantifiable phenomena. :-)

Date: 2002-09-17 10:37 pm (UTC)I have seen and heard, and experianced enough to believe there's a lot there that your not going to quanitfy, not for some time as we have no way to measure it. If they are right and the universe is on at least 28 dimentions and we experiance 4 or 6 at best, what's going on in the rest, are there not things we are not aware of there. What of life that lives there?
Have you never felt the world, the seating life around you. Can you not feel the trees receeding into slumber in the fall and the coldness that is a quite of life when things are dormant in the winter with but a few right spots of life flirting around in the barren world. The plants talk if you are in a mind to hear them, the world is a chorus of voices. Our civilization trains us to tune these out, to avoid the worlds song.
But you can learn to hear it again. You can touch others, there is much to that which we can't measure and quantify.
