WTF Was In the Halloween Punch?

Why does it seem as though Halloween night, 2006 was a hideous night for so many of you out there in LJ land? Just what shadows were snuffing out so many people's hopes that night?

The more I read folks journal the more I begin to suspect it should really have been called Black Halloween 2006.

I didn't write about having a bad Halloween...but I will say that I don't really like that time of year. I detest Samhain; a celebration of death is not my idea of a good time, and the fact that my birthday lies so close to it just means that for YEARS I had to accessorize my birthday party in black and orange. Ugh.

Well that was the day my friend Steven was buried. He died from cancer on the 28th of October.

it was ok for me, was thinking of doing a cemetary run that weekend, but I think it rained. Should do it this year. I offered if you wanted to join me Matt, so the offer still stands. Would like to take ya out for coffee or lunch one of these days.
