The Weekend

vianegativaMy weekend was pretty much flawless. For brevity's sake I present the weekend in bullet points:
at Ikea, I couldn't help but look on my guys munchng happily on Swedish meatballs, joking and cutting up, and think: I am grateful. I have so much in love and family that I should thank whatever powers-that-may-be every freaking day. My life, taken overall, is happy and with purpose. I simply need to remember that more often.
- Friday-- Saw the Scissor Sisters at the Riviera. The wait there was almost intolerable but the show itself was fucking flawless. All my guys were there and after the show we shuffled home, happy & satiated by good music.
- Saturday-- I attended the Games Plus twice-yearly auction and scored a lot of good swag. Shane & Jimmy went with me and after Mike made us all a traditional Southern meal of pulled BBQ pork sandwiches, pinto beans & cornbread. Saturday night was spent warm in the arms of full stomachs and heaps of napping bears.
- Sunday-- Sunday consisted mainly of three things: Fry's Electronics, IKEA, and Frank Miller's 300. Excellent, excellent and supernal.
