I usually don't like to comment on LJ drama due to having been charbroiled by the whole mattycub / Dave Riordan roomate debacle a few years back. However I was so annoyed with bigboxbear for harassing a friend for removing him from his journal that I was going to post something snarky and fun.

Then I read bigbear4xl's journal.

Wow. I'm a right bastard, but that actually took my breath away.

100 very irate posts after, including bigegobear's reply, there is so much that could be said, but the gist is this:

Owen, I am so sorry someone felt the need to take a tragedy in your life & try to use it as something to spar with you over. It was reprehensible.


I saw that he was spoiling for a fight, or to cause a scene because of an exchange in my journal's comments with e_ticket, an stupid & pointless row over him being unfriended. He must not be getting much attention elsewhere because the behavior he's exhibiting is that of a child knocking thinggs over just to get Daddy to notice him.

Let me be perfectly blunt.

Tony is obviously egotistical, paranoid and delusional.Iif you look at his rant in his journal (now deleted) you can tell his grip on reality is tenuous at best. "Those who can't possess me and despise me..." and this is from his own journal no less. I mean, this is satirical gold. If I had the inclination and the full entry I would delight in digging in and dissecting such an egotist if only because of his rampant cruelty to someone who didn't deserve it. I still may do it if utter boredom so inclines me to.

Here's the skinny: I have never met Tony in person, but everyone I know who has has decribed the experience as "toxic" at best. I've known him online in one form or another since 1996 on #Bearcave and Grizz BBS, and in that time I have formed an opinion or two regarding him, mainly that he is a desperate, hairy, sweaty meglomaniac desperatly seeking validation through Bearporn and treating his "legion of admirerers" like crap. His antics were amusing in that same way you might laugh at a crazy person selling imaginary fish in the desert, but his latest tirade is beyond the pale.

Do you know why he harps on his bear porn & sharing his body "with the world"? It is because all he has to offer is the body that a genetic lottery gave him that makes him attractive to a subsect of gay culture. We all know that beauty is fleeting, so here we have the rantings of a bearporn queen clawing into the walls of the pit of his inevitable decay.

Feel free to stop throwing him the rope he so desperately needs: attention.


Oh, and if it wasn't clear: fuck you Tony.

Oh, and after deleting his journal, it's back. I gave him a week before he returned. He blew all expectations for attention desperateness out of the water. :)

Y'know, I don't really know the guy - matter of fact I think I spoke to him once and immediatly found him to be an ignoranus (ie: not knowing what the fuck he was on about on top of being an asshole). But I watched him treat people like garbage on the delusional pretense that he was "all that".

Turned me right off the "bear thing", while i was still finding myself. Kinda made me reluctant to embrace it, quite frankly.
