Inconstant Flesh

On a completely mundane note, I am now at the mercy of constant heartburn that has been plaguing me for over two days. This is alarming because I've only had heartburn a handful of times in my life, and because it has always gone away within an hour. certainly it's NEVER been this potent. I can feel my esophagus burning up into my throat, and it's actually pretty painful.

Given moments like these, I really feel for those with Acid Reflux, like my John, who suffer this pain on a much greater and lenghty scale.

I'm going to go eat a few rolls of Tums.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I had heartburn over here a few days ago and there weren't any Tums(tm) in sight. I bought this stuff called "Remegel". It's pretty sweet. Soft chewies that taste almost like the box that used to be full of mint chocolate chip ice-cream that's been sitting in my kitchen pail for the last week.
