The Big Day

Today is the day that my hubby, the incomparable wolfpackcub defends his doctoral dissertation... at 10:00 a.m.

Please everyone, send him e-mails & texts of encouragement, well-wishes & luck! I want him to feel the support and love and if you would, keep him in your thoughts.

We'll find out the committee's decision this afternoon... and jumping hell on a pogo stick, I'm nervous. This sensation must be something like what first time fathers feel during their wife's childbirth; the anticipation, nervousness and worry, all without having actually done a damn thing. :-)

I love you Travis-- no worries, you'll be amazing!

Been there twice before, and one more time coming. That wait is one of the most agonizing things a person can ever endure. Fortunately, if you make it to the defense, it's pretty much a shoe in on the pass. The waiting is just time for the committee to discuss final changes for the DIA submission.
