vianegativa | The Weekend As It Was

Overall, it was a good weekend, despite being brief. Travis & Mark flew in at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, got home around 11-11:30. Mark had a searing case of food poisoning from the Newark airport terminal's "Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger" restaurant so he was out of commission for the entire weekend and I had some tummy issues on Saturday as well. All in all, on Saturday night we opted to stay in, rest, and cuddle since they were both leaving early Sunday evening. Bear made a lovely dinner & breakfast for us all and Chad and Mike got a chance to relax with us as well.

There's never enough time. 52 hours together, 16 of which were spent sleeping leaving 36 mercurial hours. A day and a half; it never seems fair.

More & more the stress of a long distance relationship is wearing on Travis and I'm desperate to lift the loneliness from him. That being said that would involve one or all of us moving, a tricky situation at the very best. It all seems un reasonable, like one or the other of us will have to utterly compromise our life for the other.

So, all in all, this weekend was bittersweet; good but bittersweet.

Despite all the difficulty I am not giving up on that man, ever.
